The Samsung YP-P2 Blue Wave 2 *Updated* firmware is now available (Version 3.15)


YP-P2 version 3.15 Firmware Changes (Translation - Thanks to Zariman)

1. When recording FM Radio, when volume is lowered all the way down to 0 and brought back up, there is no more sound.

2. Setting > Brightness, after adjusting the brightness level, if OK is not pressed and press back button, the screen goes all the way to the main menu.

3. After a movie playback, if Prime Pack subway is run, the player will shut off on its own.

4. No beep sound selecting a music album art.

5. After playing game, the text gets broken.

6. When selecting text view types that were in V2.08 but deleted in V3.07, text view functions with problems.

7. After FM Radio, when playing radio recorded file and the power is turned off, in turning the player on, the screen will start on FM Radio instead of music.

YP-P2 version 3.07 Firmware Changes

1. Touch Games - Three fun games (PowWow, Bubble Smile, and Jigsaw Puzzle) are provided.

2. FM Radio recording support - FM broadcast can be recorded as MP3.

3. Repeat A-B - Select a section of music and play it repeatedly.

4. Play Speed Control - Control the music play speed.

5. File Deletion support - Delete files on your P2 without having to connect to a PC.

6. EmoTure 1.5 - EmoTure is further improved with features such as horizontal viewing of text.

Dictionary (Original release)
Note: The Dictionary is a Korean/English version. It does have English words/definitions, but it is mainly a tool for helping those who speak Korean to learn English.
The WordBook and Quiz (included with the Dictionary) are in Korean only.

Important! You must have the KR (UMS) firmware properly installed to use the Dictionary, not just installed over the top of a previous MTP firmware version.
Just installing the KR UMS firmware over the top of any MTP firmware (US, EU, CA, BB etc) will not change your P2 to a UMS-based player.. and thus the Dictionary will not work.
Read here... for Instructions on how to change an MTP-based firmware to the KR UMS-based firmware.

Here are the 3rd BlueWave update for the P2.. The 4.05 BETA release from Samsung.

You will have to download BOTH the UCI and the Firmware to be able to do this update.
To install the UCI (Themes), you unzip the UCI folder, and put it in the ROOT directory of the P2.
If that won't work, just ask, and we will have a sollution on it..

NOTICE!! This is a BETA Firmware, and may brick your P2. Though.. It's a small chance..
