Convert MMF / MID to DXM format

Hi, I have just got my new LG 7100. Phones wicked, except you can only cable transfer ringtones in DXM format.
I can play dxm format through psplayer. However as a previous samsung v200 owner i have MMF format ringtones (over 4000 as the last count)
I need to find out how to convert mmf or mid to dxm.
does anyone have a clue?

I would be happy to forward a copy of all of my MMF files as thank you.

Hiya, I just got lg7100 too- I agree is v cool phone. I was also really frustrated at first coz it seemed couldn't convert existing ringtones to dxm format (let's face it who wants to pay £2 or whateva for ringtones?? )
What I found is that u can actually upload midi files onto ur g7100 and they work just fine, so I assume u already have a psm player to convert all those mmf files to midi....so ur sorted!!

What I haven't figured out is how to download pictures taken with the phone onto my pc using the data cable -so don't hafta pay. If u know then please share!!
(also I wouldn't mind checking out ur 4000 odd ringtones!! )

On LG's homepage, there's a program for up and downloading everything you want to your LG phone, be it pictures or sound or Java games.

If you want to share midi files, please do so! ^_^

I found the software at the scandinavian site, and it's in English (the software).

Did you try select COM2 115kbpsfor your serial cable? Mine working fine. I am also using LG PC Sync version 2.5 ; given with my new LG 7100 hp.

I also using the "LG Contents Bank Version 7100- v3.2T(3.2.6.11-EN)

It works fine for me in downloading photos to my hp and also uploading photos from it. Also my midi files can work by simply downloading them - no need any conversion.

Maybe the newer firmware inside my hp helps also. I bought the hp 4 days ago.

If everything fails, I suggest upgrading the firmware as a last resort.

I was looking through google for help with DMX files and came across your forum so would like to say thank you for all your accidental help.
I found a PSM player on kazaalite( http://www.docsdownloads.com/kazaa-lite.htm )along with 300 ringtones and didn't realise what it was for until I read your messages.All I typed in was ringtones.
I have now downloaded the application for uploading pictures from my phone to my pc and am going to see how that goes.

I just bought a LG-7100 recently and while I was checking out the ringtones in the CD-ROM provided in the package I noticed that besides the usual complement of DXM format ringtones, there were also .adp format ringtones as well. These tend to be digitized audio sound clips.

I have never heard of an .adp format sound file before, how to edit it or if possible, convert other formats such as mp3 or wav to .adp form.

Could anybody out there help me out on this one?

Well.. you can make screensavers with the software provided by Lg, from any bmp or jpg file.
